School Care

We are excited about the opportunity to provide the After School Care programme in you school.

Our childcare services are community based. In this we are committed to working with our local communities. In relation to our school aged care programme, we work closely with parents and principals to ensure our service is meeting the needs of the school communities.

Our aim is to provide children with a safe and inviting environment where they can explore interests, develop and practice skills and play with other children.

The weekly programme will be developed and implemented by the Assistant Director in cooperation with other staff at the programme. It will reflect the needs and interests of children, involve the children in the planning and incorporate the views of parents. The programme will be evaluated regularly to ensure it’s appropriateness and effectiveness. Weekly programme and afternoon tea menus will be planned on regular basis and updates will be displayed on the communication board at the service

We encourage parent involvement and liaise regularly with the school and the parents to ensure continuing quality, and communication. Daily interactions and casual chatting with parents contribute to a better understanding of their needs and to develop a collaborative relationship. It provides parents with an informal forum to discuss their child’s involvement in the programme, homework status, socialising patterns and any other issues. As previously noted, families are encouraged to make suggestions for the improvement of the programme through a variety of means.

Enrolments As the new providers of Sts Peter and Paul School Age Care Programme we require a completed enrolment for each child attending the programme. Families interested in enrolling their child/ren will need to:

  • obtain an "enrolment" pack from the front office, Sts Peter and Paul School or contact Rachael McRedmond on 6247 1084

  • fill in the enrolment form and leave it at the front office, Sts Peter and Paul School, as soon as possible

If you would like more information regarding the programme or enrolments please contact Gordana Morphett on 6239 6878 or Rachael McRedmond on 6247 1084

We look forward to a long and successful association with the Sts Peter and Paul School community.
